The meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yemen Arabian Sea Ports Corporation was concluded this morning at headquarters in the port of Mukalla, headed by Engineer Salem Ali Basamer Chairman of board of directors of YASPC, and in the presence of of Mr. Fwad Alrbaky, deputy of Chairman of YASPC, and Dr. Al-Khader Ali Muhammad, representative of the Ministry of Transport, and Engineer Amin Saeed Barzeq, representative of the local authority in Hadhramaut. Mr. Mukhtar Muhammad bin Awaid, representative of the local authority in Al-Mahra, Mr. Abdul-Aleem Ahmed Issa, representative of the local authority in Socotra, Mr. Anwar Awad Al-Jaidi, representative of the Ministry of Finance, and Mr. Naeem Abdul Qadir Al-Amoudi, representative of the General Authority for Maritime Affairs.

The meeting discussed the Corporation 's strategic projects, the most important of which is the Mukalla Port expansion project, development and improvement of Nashtoon Port, and the progress of technical studies in the future Port of Barum, Qarma Port in Socotra, and Qana Port in Shabwa Governorate.
