Eng. Salem Ali Basamer, Chairman of the Board of the Yemen Arabian Sea Ports Corporation (YASPC), honored H.E. Dr. Abdulsalam  Saleh Humaid, Minister of Transport, today at the Ministry’s headquarters in Aden. The recognition highlights the Minister’s sustained efforts to advance the corporation’s development across multiple sectors, including his pivotal role in establishing the Maritime Training and Qualification Center within YASPC.

Additional honors were presented to Captain Ali Mohammed Al-Subhi, Deputy Minister for Maritime Affairs and Ports; Mr. Bassam Ahmed Al-Muflahi, Director General of the Minister’s Office; and Mr. Atiq Yaslam Ba-Haqeebah, Director General of Legal Affairs, in appreciation of their continued support in legal, administrative, and operational matters affecting the corporation.

Chairman Basamer expressed his deep appreciation for the Ministry’s steadfast support, particularly during difficult periods, and commended its commitment to strengthening institutional capacity. He also acknowledged the instrumental efforts of Minister Humaid and Captain Al-Subhi in facilitating coordination between the corporation and other government entities, helping to overcome key challenges.
